Double Chocolate Chip Frappuccino

I won't claim we are Starbucks, or know how to mimic Starbuck's Drinks. But our girls are choco-holics and love this drink, so we made our own versions last summer. Again keep in mind that I don't measure so my measurements are rough estimates!

Ingredients:

8oz milk
3+ Tbsp of chocolate syrup
1/4 cup of chocolate chips
2-3 ice cubes OR a large scoop of vanilla ice-cream
Whip cream

Directions:

Blend milk, chocolate syrup, chocolate chips, ice (or ice cream), and vanilla syrup (if using) in blender till smooth. *If you use ice, you may want to add about 1/8 tsp of vanilla syrup.
Top with whip cream (for the extreme chocolate lovers use chocolate whip cream) and drizzle with chocolate syrup.

Flavored Toffee Caramel Dessert Coffee

Recipe found at www.simplebites.net.

  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 Tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 cup milk chocolate toffee bits (Such as Heath Bar bits)
  • 5 cups hot brewed coffee (decaf is fine)
  • 2 Tablespoons caramel sauce or ice cream topping
  1. In a small bowl, beat cream until it begins to thicken. Add vanilla and sugar and beat until stiff peaks form. Refrigerate until ready for use.
  2. Stir toffee bits into hot brewed coffee. Let sit for two minutes then strain and discard any leftover bits.
  3. Divide coffee into 5 separate mugs. Top with whipped topping then drizzle with caramel sauce.
