Fudge

Several years ago, I was given this recipe from my awesome friend Rachel and her mother Jean. This recipe is not only easy to make, but you can choose ANY flavor of chips. Since we have a family of 8 we can never agree on just one flavor. Our family favorites are milk chocolate, peanut butter, and mint.

Ingredients:

4 C. Sugar
1 Cube butter (1 stick aka 1/2c, 8TBSP)
2 Tsp. vanilla
3 C. White Chips ( any other for different flavor)
2 C. heavy whipping cream (1 Pint)

Directions:

Put chips in mixing bowl.
Cut butter into slices and set aside.
Mix sugar and cream in heavy saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil, stir constantly to 240'
Take off burner and add butter slices and vanilla on top of mixture. DO Not Stir.
Pour mixture into mixing bowl over chips. Beat until chips have melted and mixture looks like fudge. Pour into butter 9 x 13 pan cool, and cut.
