Ingredients:
- 4 cups fresh or frozen blackberries, thawed
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/2 cup sugar substitute
- 1 1/2 teaspoon grated lemon peel
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions:
- In a heavy 4-quart pan, combine berries and lemon juice. Mash berries slightly, if desired.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring often.
- Stir in sugar, lemon peel, and cinnamon.
- Return to a boil, stirring to dissolve sugar substitute.
- Reduce heat to medium and boil gently for about 15 minutes. Stir often.
- Remove from heat and stir jam.
- Put jam into any container you have available and refrigerate.
1 tablespoon of jam = 15 calories
