Sugar & Spice Blackberry Jam

I saw this recipe on The Revolution 02/28/12.

Ingredients:
  • 4 cups fresh or frozen blackberries, thawed
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup sugar substitute
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon grated lemon peel
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions:
  • In a heavy 4-quart pan, combine berries and lemon juice. Mash berries slightly, if desired.
  • Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring often.
  • Stir in sugar, lemon peel, and cinnamon.
  • Return to a boil, stirring to dissolve sugar substitute.
  • Reduce heat to medium and boil gently for about 15 minutes. Stir often.
  • Remove from heat and stir jam. 
  • Put jam into any container you have available and refrigerate.

1 tablespoon of jam = 15 calories
